I had the opportunity to direct a scene under the tutelage of PJ Hogan and Bob Humphreys as part of my culminating project at Griffith Film School. The exercise involved a “mystery” script from Proof (1991, written & directed by Jocelyn Moorhouse, starring Hugo Weaving, Geneviève Picot, Russell Crowe). The onus was on the Directors to analyse the screenplay, craft a narrative around it and direct their interpretation.
